Ho Chi Minh Trail Museum

Ho Chi Minh Trail Museum located west of the capital Hanoi,  is the only place in Vietnam to keep a road in a museum: Truong Son – Ho Chi Minh trail. Coming here, visitors will have a glimpse of legendary Truong Son road miniature (Truong Son Strategic Supply Route), and  to more appreciate the dedication and sacrifices of the Vietnamese soldiers once sawed along the Truong Son Mountain to save the country.

With an indoor exhibition area 2.700m2 and over 15,000 original artifacts, Ho Chi Minh Trail Museum delivers an interesting insight to the effort and determination that went into maintaining the famous supply route from the Communist north to Vietcong strongholds in the American-backed south of Vietnam.

To visit the Museum, this should be combine with a trip to the Perfume Pagoda, offering interesting shrines and a romantic river journey. This trip can also be combined with a visit to the mummies in the Dau Pagoda.
